Flight options to Socotra are currently limited. Charter flights are currently the only way to get to the island.
Yemenia Airways operates only one direct flight per week between Saudi Arabia - Jeddah and Socotra. Booking is required well in advance. The flight takes approximately 3.5 hours and costs $800/person (this is an open fare, with last-minute tickets costing $900/person). This route is currently the only regular flight to Socotra.
Alternatively, you can travel with Yemenia on the Cairo - Socotra route with a stopover in Aden on the Yemeni mainland.
However, this option is: significantly less comfortable, less safe and significantly more expensive, so we generally do not recommend it.
